This was the perfect end to the trilogy. It was the slowest of slow burns, but I actually preferred it that way, as Amma and Damien got to develop and grow together slowly over the course of the entire series. I still loved all of the humorous bits and in particular appreciated the breaking of the fourth wall that happened many times in this book. I love when an author has fun with their writing in such a way. I can’t wait to dive into the spinoff books from the series.
