Wonderfully Made Children is an adorable series that covers ADHD and Autism so far. I look forward to reading the next books as well.

In the stories, we follow Charlie and Reed. Charlie is four and autistic. Reed is six and has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
I especially loved how each story addressed a part of daily life and how each child lives it wonderfully.

Charlie's book gives us an outlook of his playtime with his sister and what works and doesn't work for them. The mother in Charlie's story is so well versed in explaining Charlie to his sister. She explained- Charlie has one favorite (frogs) while his sister,Amelia, had many. This helped Amelia see they both deserved exploring their interests!

Reed's story takes place at school. I have a Reed at home. So, her story peaked my interest because,as a parent, I do not get to see my girl's school day with ADHD. Reed's character is so sweet and lively. She immediately pulled at my heartstrings. I was rooting for this sweet girl every step of the way!

These books have wonderful discussion questions at the end of each story and teach empathy so very well. I read them to my six and ten year old. They were both able to comprehend and engage in discussion about the books. I would put a very wide age range on these books. All school libraries need a copy of the Wonderfully Made Children's books!
