Troy Barrett might be my favorite character in this entire series besides Ilya Rozanov which is saying a lot because there are many incredible characters in this series thus far. What can I say, I have a huge weakness for big softies hiding under tough exteriors

Reading this now... I wish I had read it before I had read The Long Game the first time, since the timeline runs parallel to much of TLG. This is definitely the best in the series besides Ilya and Shane's books and I really loved it. Of course all the Ilya appearances helped!
