Pure, filthy smut.
Damn this was hot.
This was short. Just a little Christmas/New Years cheer to tide us over until she puts out the full length novel about these characters, so there’s not much to it.
But what there is, is filthy and sexy, and dark.
Check TWs for sure. There’s talk of sexual abuse, and there’s violence.
There’s also breath playing, a little bondage, a hint of primal play, some CNC, and some blood play. Plus, of course, there are masks.
At one point I get a little worried because Quinn says ‘no limits’, and after learning about the bdsm world, I’ve started to see those words as sort of a red flag.
But.
In this one situation, with the context and everything, I understand what she meant, and I think it was ok. I still would’ve preferred if she’d laid down some hard limits, but it all turned out alright in the end, and it’s fiction so…whatever.
