The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis

5.0

Still am excellent fairy tale adventure for children. Although Lewis's sexism bothers me I've overlooked the same in other fantasy authors I'm more fond of so it would be dishonest for me to detract it here. There's Christian themes present, but they don't take over the plot, unlike the later Narnia books I've been told about. It's fun, funny, and a book probably best experienced by a child having their parent read it to them.
Also, Lewis gave us the greatest villain in all of fantasy genre, that being Edmund.
