This collection of Michael DeForge's short comics demonstrates his signature style: surreal, weird, dark, fantastical, and often explicit. The alternate worlds he brings to life hold a satirical mirror to our own, with a few being particularly astute or just amusing. DeForge's art/design chops really shine through in stories like "Mostly Saturn" and "Placeholders," though overall the collection was a bit hit and miss and some stories felt a bit like unfinished experiments.
