This story feels quite fragmented. It feels like it had a lot of important things to say but it was due at 11:59 and it was currently 11:40. I did have an odd reading experience, however, I had an ebook version, but then I found it on audiobook in my library's online collection, and decided to listen to it as I read along. The narrator was fun but as someone who's still trying to get into audiobooks it wasn't really my thing, so halfway through I gave up on the audio and just read the ebook. I feel like that took away from my reading experience, but I also feel like a three star rating is justifiable enough. I've always been someone that continues with a series no matter what I thought of the first book, but I think I won't be participating in the rest of this one, and am upset I didn't like it more.
