A formally and sonically playful collection. Jubi has the range, as they say. These poems are brimming with confidence and verve. Many of these poems are in conversation with other writers. The longer poems and the poems after Bhanu Kapil were probably my favorites. This collection helped get me out of a poetry rut--it woke me up. It made me want to write again.
