I occasionally read royal romances and tried this author on the recommendation of someone whose writing I enjoy. This was... eh. I typically read clean/closed door romances- just personal preference- and this was NOT that. Regardless of that element, it didn't feel like there was enough realism to the characters & plot to help balance the fluff I expect in this kind of a book.
