A Time To Run by Mark Wandrey, Mark Wandrey

5.0

Well, this keeps on getting better and better. The excitement just keeps coming like a non-stop tsunami of adrenaline. This is a page-turner by any definition, with suspense, horror, intrigue, and everything except the kitchen sink. There's space sci-fi stuff, military/navy/coastguard, a zombie cannibalistic apocalypse, virology, and the list just goes on and on.

It's got more plot threads than a high-quality Egyptian cotton sheet. However, there's no problem following the narrative. The author does an excellent job of maintaining cohesion throughout, keeping the flow and pacing of the narration on an even keel. There's also a significant conspiratorial twist towards the end that's going to leave you wanting more.

The characters are well-rounded and have a variety of experiences and traits that make them relatable and engaging. Overall, it's an excellent and entertaining read. I honestly can't wait for the next one
