This was a rly interesting retelling of Atlas and Heracles.

Pros:
- Atlas was a fascinating and complex character, and very likeable, and the inclusion of Laika was great.
- the metaphor for Atlas myth as us creating our own burdens, and the talk of desire and boundaries was rly interesting
- the writing style was powerful and innovative

Cons:
- there's some sexual and rape content that felt unnecessary , even if it is the greek gods
- Heracles was very unlikeable
(- wasn't sure about the non-fiction parts, but I didn't dislike them)

overall, a good book that could've dropped the shock-tactic sex parts
