Clever, funny, insightful- but for me misses five stars because so much of the writer’s experience of happiness seems to involve travel. There are plenty of happiness-on-your-doorstep instances, and some wonderful turns of phrase, but a bit less of rafting in Sweden or wild camping in Sumatra might have made it a touch more accessible.
