The Heart Principle by Helen Hoang
This is by far Helen’s most personal book to date and the authors note cannot be skipped with this book!
While this may not be my favorite of the three books in this series, I think it’s the most honest of the three. Helen poured herself and her life into these characters. It was heartbreaking to read Anna’s struggles, but it was such an honor to read about her journey (and Helen’s) and her road to recovery. While the relationship with Quan was not the center of this book, we see how Quan really values her and challenges her, along with her therapist, to put herself first for once. It’s a testament on how love can guide you even when you feel at your lowest.
I applaud Helen’s strength for writing and giving us this book.
