This is apparently the final book in the series, and I must say, I was very disappointed. For all the time, effort, getting to know the characters and living with them for so long, this book was a large let down.
I don't know if Ms. Auel lost her inspiration for this series, but the last three books lacked the spark of the first three, with Plains of Passage being a bridge book and a good read.
