Gyasi’s book deals with mental illness, religion, science and addiction in ways that many other books could never even try to. Gifty’s story is difficult to handle at times, but beautiful every moment.

There’s a bit TOO much science in there, I got the message Gyasi was trying to tell without it, but it is mostly necessary.
