I had a LOT of fun with this, this is one romance I haven’t had issues with the length of it (it 10000% didn’t feel like 320 pages!) I was twirling my hair, kicking my feet and giggling the WHOLE way through. LUKE BROOKS THE MAN THAT YOU ARE!!!!!!!!! How freaking hot. 

I’ve never read a cowboy romance but damn, this makes me want to read as many as I can get my hands on. Will definitely be reading the rest of the series of Rebel Blue Ranch!

The writing was very simple (but very effective!!!) and the pace was perfect. We got to know the characters slow enough that we really could fall in love but not too slow that it became boring. There’s not necessarily a hell of a lot of plot but I don’t mind that at all and it was exciting in other ways that kept me coming back. Luke and Clementines chemistry was EVERYTHING!!! The writing sizzled when it came to those two. 

The side characters weren’t fleshed out as much as I wanted them to be, but we got to know them a little too. (I think from what I can gather that each book is about a different character so we should get to know them in their own story??) Gus at the end threw up hella red flags, so annoyed with him and how he reacted, GROW UP 🤬 so I hope he gets a redemption in his book??

The setting was also everything, that waterfall!!!! The description of the mountains!!!! The dive bar!!!!! So good

Overall this was SO MUCH FUN! And I would defs recommend this book and will be reading others when I can get my hands on them.
