Stuck-Up Suit by Penelope Ward, Vi Keeland
5.0
My butt is dragging at the office this morning because I stayed up late to finish this book. Luckily, it was completely worth it to do so! This review is going to be a mess of jumbled thoughts because my brain is not on this morning, but let's try anyway.
This was a fast and entertaining read, and I won't lie, the last line left a little tear in my eye.
Graham and Soraya are a powerhouse. He's your typical cold-hearted billionaire, and she's the spitfire columnist living in Brooklyn. When he accidentally drops his phone on the morning train and it's retrieved by her, things get juicy. She's nosy and has no problem prying into his life (aka, his phone), and has no problem dishing out just as much attitude as he gives her once she actually goes to return the device.
There were a few twists and turns that kept me flipping through the pages at rapid pace to see what would happen next. Said twists also added to the drama which I'm a total sucker for (in my books at least).
I could've smacked Soraya a few times. She pissed me off a bit closer to the end, but then again, they both had me wanting to scream here and there with silly errors and miscommunication. I guess that's just how some relationships go.
All around, it was a rollercoaster and an adventure with these two. If you're looking for a steamy, summer beach read, go meet Graham and Soyara asap!
