I have SO many thoughts!! In many ways, this book is brilliant. It has a premise that is EXTREMELY thought-provoking, characters that you root for, characters that drive you nuts (Sidney!), and a purpose you want to champion (at my own demise, yikes). I felt challenged and uncomfortable many times, which in my case (a white reader), was intended. There are also plenty of plot holes, pacing issues, and problematic storylines (it's kinda culty, and Seraphin's character arc is kinda icky). But overall, this book does what great books do - my mind is whirling with thoughts, and I want more of this world, from other viewpoints. This would be perfect for book clubs.
