I didn't know this was part of a series when I picked this up. You can read this as a standalone and won't miss anything but there are spoilers for the previous books.
This was really fucked up

especially the autopsy scene and the description of Anna's body in the beginning

The single sex scene was framed as sort of consensual but it did not feel that way. The entire police brutality part was also not something I liked.

Also, I was able to guess who the killer was in the prologue; but that's beside the point.
