Four years later after reading it for the first time, and Kingdom of Ash will still always have a monumental place in my heart. I love seeing the journey these characters have been on and they've developed so much throughout the series. I won't lie though, this book tugs quite hard at the emotions and at times parts of it should be treated delicately and carefully. There was so much reveal and anticipation even with it being the final installment. All the characters mean so much and Maas definitely spent time on each important person throughout not only the final book, but the series as a whole. I love the world, I love the healing, the magic, the characters, and how it feels like home when reading. No matter what SJM, always delivers and the feelings that come through when reading are unmatched entirely. I love Kingdom of Ash and thought it was a great conclusion to an overall stunning collection of books.
