Not terrible but neither great. 
The blurb got me interest but the book wasn't holding my attention. 
I like a bold fmc with a friend group, and seeing her struggle in a violent and patriarcal society but here it read as new adult (I personally dislike). Again I love a possessive mmc but I don't love a obsessed one and here he didn't seem to have many reasons to be one. Also I am not keen on the villanous father plotline
