Bleeding Edge by Thomas Pynchon
1.0
I was not on board with the over stylistic writing, which bounced from setting to setting and obscure character to another through breathless and ridiculous phrasing that left me more confused and exhausted than thrilled. Many scenes are also triggered by useful coincidences-this may have been in line with the aim of making the novel's world postmodern and post-real, but it more just made it unrealistic and annoying.
