Again, another more old school Horrible Histories book about my favourite Ancient groups; the Celts and the Celtic nations.

The more old school feel to this book does lend more to the nostalgia vibe but it’s still got everything in there that I loved the first time I read it. And I think I can categorically state that this is where my fascination with Wales and Ireland started, before I even knew about my own family’s quite deep connections to those two countries.

Worth the re read and I can definitely see how this was able to springboard me into reading the other books in this collection when I was younger.
