Spoiler: There is zero spice in this I repeat- ZERO SPICE. You think it’s coming and then nerp. But ok now that we’ve established that, I’m just here to say I freaking loved this book. It was a great slow burn romance. The banter was 10/10. The female character, Evie, was a freaking hoot! I found myself laughing at her dialogue multiple times. If you like fantasy- this was great!

Evie is in desperate need of a job to provide for her sick dad and young sister. When she stumbles upon the town’s Villain, he’s absolutely captivated by her and offers her a job on the spot. Flash forward 5 months and she’s running the show! The Villian and his manor are operating efficiently all due to Evie. That is until someone on the inside has infiltrated them and is causing all types of problems! Evie now must balance keeping things professional with her boss, while also finding out who is sabotaging him!
