If I could give this 100 stars I would. It was hands down the one of best stories I've read in 2024 so far.

This book wrecked me in the best way. Ellis & Lucky's story broke my heart, but put it back together though it took them a while to get there. The selflessness in Ellis by withholding expressing his feelings in the beginning to ensure Lucky went out to experience the world because he knew that is what Lucky needed most was Ellis' ultimate act of love. This was such a beautifully written story and I will always recommend this book.
