Red Dirt Heart by N.R. Walker

5.0

"I'd jumped into raging rivers, ridden wild bulls, bucking horses and fought off deadly snakes. I'd done a thousand crazy things in my life that made Ma yell at me, but I'd never-never-been as scared as I was when I looked at him."

This is another gorgeous story by NR Walker. Set in the Australian outback it is both a beautiful and harsh in environment.

This beautiful tale is about Charlie, a station farmer whose late father left him feeling less than and a charismatic Travis who’s come to learn about their farming, and in turn helps set Charlie free.

Red Dirt Heart is a short novel, but it lacks nothing. It’s a perfect balance of heart, sexiness, and depth. It’s also just the beginning for these two. There is still plenty more of these wonderful men to come.

And if you like audiobooks, you can do no wrong with this one. It’s narrated by Joel Leslie, who is such a talented performer.
