I liked Alicia and Tony well enough, but the entire premise of her being able to get away with this random deception (and the grandes dames buying into it, and the complete lack of self awareness in Lady Osbaldstone's comments about the ton when otherwise I really like her as a character) just....killed it for me. Ugh.
