Emily Wilde's Map of the Otherlands by Heather Fawcett

4.0

While this was still an entertaining and delightful read, I liked the first book a lot more. For me, one of the main things that made book 1 so good was the interactions between Emily and Wendell, and since there was a lot less Wendell in this book, I missed him and their banter. I really liked the two new characters introduced in this and the way their relationship with Emily progressed through the book. Also, I still loved the way this is told in journal entries.
