This was lovely - what a great resolution to the relationship between Ramses and Nefret, and a truly tense mystery. I think has possibly been my favourite of the series so far - it has a different feeling than the previous books, and is a lot darker, with the war on their doorstep, and a great deal at stake with Ramses' activities - I loved it.
