This was my second attempt to read a book by this author, I gave the last one 1 star but I always try to give an author more than one chance as it could have been a case of that particular book not being for me. 

Turns out I just don't gel with this author or their writing style. There are so many words on the page, yet bugger all is actually being said or happening, and anything that does is telling and not showing. Both MCs are unlikeable, there was zero build up for the chemistry etc, the nicknames were childish and cringe, and I swear it either of their inner monologues described the MMC as being "bad" or a "fallen angel" one more time my eyes would roll out of my head. If you're constantly having to remind the reader of what a bad boy the MMC is then he is infact nothing of the bloody sort. 🤦‍♀️
