At first I didn't like Rose very much. I thought she was a crazy, petulant woman who just wanted to Rebel against her parents and make a name for herself regardless of the consequences. She wanted to be known as someone other than Gabriel's girl. To get out from under her father's immense shadow so to speak.
Then she did a big thing, and then didn't want to deal with the consequences of that big thing which made me wanna punch her tbh.
This got better.
This family has a special place in my heart and always will, along with the members of Saga. It was sad, emotional, gory and epic and I don't regret reading a single word.
This was just as good in my opinion than King's of the Wyld, it was perhaps a bit less funny but it still had its moments. I do have to admit that the first 10 chapters was quite repetitive, but the author wrapped it up as its own little joke which I appreciated.
Freecloud I think deserved better... Lastleaf deserved better. All the monsters, the sentient monsters anyway, deserved better.
Leave it to humans to take something they don't understand and turn into brutal, cruel entertainment. 💔 no parent should watch their child fight and die in an arena, regardless if they look like an inhuman gross stump.
