The first ~75% of this book was very plot-heavy in a way that I didn't really love. A big part of what I love about this series is the introspection and Murderbot grappling with its feelings and how humans are gross and it definitely doesn't want to be one *but also* is it jealous of Miki?! And the majority of this book was not at all that, and everything moving pieces around for the GrayCris showdown. BUT, when everything starts to come together at the end, it does have some really beautiful moments that I liked a lot. I feel like this book ends on a great note where it's clear that this was the end of a completed arc but with room for more, and now that the "more" has been published, I'm excited to read those three books in chronological order.
