This was a great book. As someone who considers myself fairly “woke” to social issues (though admittedly through a very limited lens as a white person) I found the perspective shift of looking at the history of racism in America through the lens of caste system very valuable and informative. All of that is to say… I’m about to be INSUFFERABLE at my conservative family’s thanksgiving dinners and for that Miss Wilkerson, I thank you.
