Black Wind by Clive Cussler, Dirk Cussler

Honestly, I couldn't believe a word of this.
It's so over complicated. A north Koran agent wants to reunify the peninsula, so first, he has to get rid of American military force. Fine, that makes sense. So why then did he need to engage in a plot to unleash bio-terrorism on the USA? It was so unnecessary, a supervillain as intelligent as the novel's villain, with dirt on high standing party members of Korean Politicians, should be able to do that without creating a worldwide epidemic.

From start to finish, nothing made sense. For instance, Dirk Pitt Junior flies his helicopter to close to a ship and the crew opens fire on him... why? It made no sense, he didn't see anything? They just open fire for no reason, then after he survives, the North Korean spy orders him killed... again, why? He knew nothing. Then a car chase between a 50-year old cheevie and a modern rent-a-car. Yhea right.

The writing was interesting, the plot well pacced. An enjoyable story if you don't think about it, but for me. The story reads like something i might have written when i was 12.

Alas though, for me the biggist load of rubbish was the Cameo half-way through, i mean come on Cussler, show some class.
