As a twenty-two-year-old straight out of undergrad and trying to figure out which way is up in this crazy world of adulthood, this book couldn't have been more timely. I love pretty much any content Allison and Gaby produce (their YouTube channel, Just Between Us, and their podcast of the same name are hilarious and informative), and this sequel to their first YA novel, I Hate Everyone But You, is no different. I sped through the book at warp speed as though I were really reading Gen and Ava's emails and texts. I love the idea that young women can focus on their careers and friendships, and this book explores both ideas with humor and genuineness. Not to mention the ups-and-downs of romance in your twenties. I can't wait to see these two authors/BFFs at The Strand this summer, and I'm so grateful to GoodReads and Wednesday Books for sending me this ARC as a prize for their giveaway! A perfect summer read!
