General Comments: The world is a powder keg of political hostilities and existential threats; a wild ride both fantastical and grounded in nuance. Battles in particular shine, not just for their action, but for the questions they pose about the direction of warfare in an arms race. The finale manages to tidy up almost all ends, showcasing the true extents of the characters relationships, but leaves space for more to come.

Favourite Quote: ‘Grief was the shadow love left when it was gone.’
