Baal by Robert R. McCammon

3.0

This is a decent debut of Robert McCammon. I am not as much invested as I was when reading [b:Swan Song|11557|Swan Song|Robert McCammon|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1445981000l/11557._SY75_.jpg|2947187] or [b:The Wolf's Hour|11551|The Wolf's Hour (Michael Gallatin #1)|Robert McCammon|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1397767923l/11551._SY75_.jpg|16686655] but "Baal" is not a terrible book. It spans YEARS, and takes place in a lot of countries (from America to... Kuwait?? and god knows wherever else; I didn't really keep track), and is told in such a concise way that I have difficulty in connecting with the characters that are not the titular character.

However, I will be reading more from Robert McCammon because I KNOW he grew into such an awesome, if not currently underrated, writer.
