The setting is BOMB.
I went into this expecting bisexual threesomes a-la-New-Camelot. I LOVED the New Camelot trilogy. I will say that the characters’ ages takes me out of this story a bit. They’re all 22? Ick. I wish they were 30-32. I’m not sure if it’s this book or the second where Auden is starting his baby-Dom journey, but I love that for him.
I love the magic sex rituals and the fact that they had a fake ritual at the same place when they were all kids, and it’s all coming full circle. As always with Sierra Simone, the spice is DIVINE.
