An enjoyable read and a good choice for a seasonal Halloween precursor. Although Eliza almost immediately experiences paranormal antics, she waves them away (as expected). Once she does attribute the activities to a spirit, she is surprisingly strong in combatting the unwelcome ghost and in defending the two children in the house. Methodical plotting, well developed characters, and an entertaining story.
