I want to explain the trigger warning I'm giving this book. Its depiction of attempted suicide isn't graphic or explicit in the sense that it is gory or violent, but graphic and explicit in the sense that it is definitely not *implicit*, and that the main character's suicidal thoughts are central to the plot of the book and are discussed repeatedly. While it could definitely be triggering for some people, overall the book ends up being pretty uplifting and as someone who has struggled with depression I really enjoyed it.
