The angst in this book is top-tier. I usually don't love second-chance romances, but this one is so well-executed that it's probably the best one I've read. I could totally understand and believe why these characters were in love in the past and why they are in love in the present. The chemistry and connection between them were so incredible from the very beginning and their story was so full of pain and longing that I couldn't help but feel for them, because they let their own issues and a lack of communication robe them of such an important relationship in their lives. I also really appreciated the anxiety rep in this and how sensitively it was handled.
