Captive by Medusa Stone

Great start! I actually didn't find as many errors as some reviews mentioned years ago. Could be because I'm not native in the language, but I didn't feel that the flow was odd, which has happened to me with other books.

The story begins with Liam who is escaping from his past and needs to stay away from that danger. He meets a guy at a bar that lets him stay at his house. One day when he was driving to his job, a pair of officers pull him out and find drugs in the car. Liam is scared, he doesn't know what's happening because it isn't his. The cops frighten him assuring that he'll go to jail and the dangers of ending up there. Liam asks for their help and they coerce him into 'accepting' to do anything they want for two months and then he'll be free.

I'm always up for any captivity story, so this one really got my attention. The pacing was great and the writting is simple but nice. There is a twist at the end that I wasn't expecting, sort of a cliffhanger, so I can't wait to keep reading.
