many thanks to the author and greys promo for this arc
i really liked the depth this book explored outside of the spice. the characters faced grief and managed to create happiness and it was really nice to read about. the spice was good but not at all overwhelming, quite tame compared to what the blurb might lead you to believe.
the third act breakup however felt forced and really didn’t allow for a proper resolution. it wrapped up super quickly and i found myself wanting more time with the characters before leaving their world, the same goes for the traumas faced by the mcs. the yearbook idea was cute and id recommend it for someone looking for a quick romance with a different setup
