I have seen the Jurassic Park movies more times than I can count. The first one was one of my favorites as a child. Then being a mother to 2 boys, dinosaurs are life. I never even knew about the book until I was in college. Well in my book club, our June selection was Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton. It seemed like the perfect time to read the book since Jurassic World 2 came out this month. I think everyone knows the premise of Jurassic Park whether they read the book or not.

Paleontologist, Dr. Grant, and Dr. Sattler, along with mathematician Ian Malcolm head to an island where scientists have figured out how to clone dinosaurs. The question isn’t how they did this but is this something that they can control? While on the tour, malfunctions occur making the tour into an epic adventure back to the world of dinosaurs.
