I don't think there's anything 'wrong' with this story but it just didn't hold my attention.
Over a month to read, young adult MC (unsure if this should be classified as YA or Fiction), heavy content but written in a way that was... simple and needed more depth, repetitive.
I think I'm more disappointed because of how amazing I found The Flight Girls and had been eagerly awaiting Salazar's next book.
I appreciate being introduced to the story of these two brave sisters (based on true events) but this was just a miss for me. Excited for everyone who has loved this one though!
