Don’t Quit the Day Job was just the laugh I needed book after finishing a book with a huge TW.  If you’re looking for suggestive banter, with a jerk boss and funny assistant then this is for you. From the very first few conversations between Max (MMC) and Lila (FMC) you knew this would be hilarious. Max is a super hot and arrogant lawyer who has had all of his assistants quit after a few weeks. When Max’s partners Remy and Kingston bet him $1000 that his next assistant would quit within a month, Max knew he had to make the next one last. Lila was headed to an audition for Telemundo but the line was crazy long so her and her new line buddy Skye decided to go to the job fair next door. Next thing they know, they are hired and now working for the top firm in New York. There’s great friendships between the partners as well as all the assistants. Don’t Quit The Day Job was a funny rom-com that I absolutely needed to pull me out of a funk.
