This book is an incredibly harrowing and difficult read. It takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions and experiences you can’t even begin to imagine or put into words. I started and stopped reading this so many times because it turned my stomach sick to the very core. It is definitely not a book I’d recommend for sensitive readers or anyone with a history of abuse in any form!
This has been something I personally struggled with throughout but still did not want to stop reading at the same time. As though I have some sort of misplaced attachment to my own trauma but yet that only made it more difficult to read at the same time
