The Shadow of What Was Lost by James Islington

2.0

DNF'd at 200 pages.

I started off intrigued by the world building and the characters that we are introduced to. The writing was good, until about 150 pages in. It was then that I began to pick up things that I just didn't find believable to happen. It all felt like these were forced and each action seemed unlikely. I was questioning at things that then made me feel like gaps were missing in my own knowledge.
