Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han
5.0
Edited review from earlier...
I give this 4.5*
I guess I am constant with this trilogy; giving each book the same rating *laughs*
I had the chance to try this one as an audiobook since I signed up for Audible for a month and I used my credit to get this one since I was basically dying to get my hands on it and read what was happening with Lara Jean and Peter and Kitty and... just everybody. I loved that experience so much. I cannot wait to get a copy of the other two in audio as well. It was also my first time listening to Laura Knight Keating and I can't say much because I don't know anything better but I believe she did a really good job. I could definitely tell who was who. Let's not forget that I will also get my hands on the physical copy once I have the chance. I need to complete my series, you know :)
This was the series that got me out of my reading slump late last year and I am VERY happy that it was because it did not disappoint at all, from beginning to end.
I loved how this one felt more mature with senior year, especially prom and all this college talk and what would happen during and such. I loved that the whole story felt more mature. I definitely loved LJ and Peter's relationship so much... it's almost as if they'd been together for years and years. I definitely loved, no, adored the family bond and dynamic. Kitty is hilarious and I would love to read more about her in the future... if that was ever possibly. She's grown into her own and she's fun.
As always, Lara Jean is very relatable and I love how she would rather stay home to read, watch a movie, do crafts, bake or just hang out with her family then going out to parties and such. I see myself in her in some way even though I'm now 40, don't bake and don't do a lot of craft... I wish though!
As a side note, I love that LJ is Hufflepuff because... ME TOO!!!! ♥♥
Anyway, not much of a review, huh?
