Mini Review I have no words for how beautiful and utterly heartbreaking One was. I haven't cried like that at a book in forever. I felt it right down to my very soul and very little books have made me feel like this. I could really connect with Grace and Tippi and I really did understand that bond between twins, one that very few people understand unless they are a twin themselves. I could really relate with everything Grace was feeling (except the conjoined aspect), but the feeling of wanting to be considered an individual, yet everyone seeing you both as one person and don't refer to you as your names but 'the twins', yet also the feeling that you don't want to be away from your twin because you have such a strong bond, like you are totally connected in every way and you understand each other, which is inevitable spending so long of your childhood with each other 24/7, literally.
Review: Grace and Tippi are conjoined twins and they could never imagine their lives any different and they have a bond no one can understand. Their parents can no longer afford home schooling so now Grace and Tippi must venture into the outside world filled with stares, questions and cruelty. Due to life changing circumstances, both Grace and Tippi have a decision to make which may have risks that neither of them could imagine.
One is a beautifully written and utterly heart-breaking novel which really captures that bond between twins perfectly, both conjoined and not, which few books are successful at. A book you should immediately put on your ever growing to be read pile.

I just really loved Grace and Tippi. They both had such unique and fun personalities and you really grow to love and adore. Their relationship with each other, and their family and friends were fantastic and really well developed and written which is outstanding in so few words.
One was written in verse, which is unusual to read for me but having read it, I don't see how it could have been written any other way.
One is a story about love, loss and acceptance and it is extremely powerful and moving and has easily become one of my all-time favourite novels.
